The show continues to bring even more star power this season with top guests including Justin Bieber, the cast of “Jersey Shore”, Usher and many more. Ellen DeGeneres is one of the funniest and bravest celebrities today. As has been noted by other participants here, her sense of humor is devoid of crude language and of demeaning people to get a laugh. Sometimes she is not always on and tries too hard to be funny, but most often she is witty, expressive, and hilarious. I have been a fan of hers since her groundbreaking sitcom "Ellen", in the 90's.

Her show is creative, fresh, and has many funny and original segments. Her dancing and the DJ's music at the beginning after her monologue are a daily treat. The crowd is energized and Ellen feeds off that energy. What fun one would have as an audience member at her show! The guests seemingly have a great time as well, and reminiscent of when Rosie O'Donnell's yakfest premiered, Ellen gets all the A-list stars. The difference between her show and Rosie's is that Ellen is less brash and argumentative than Rosie, and is warmer and more laid back.

Ellen's facial expressions are a riot and her quick comments, especially in spontaneous situations and in the course of a celebrity interviews, are her trademark. I love how she repeats words like "holla", but "back at ya" at the beginning is overused.

Great show which should have a relatively long run, probably at least as long as Rosie's at 6 years. I wish I could watch it everyday, but I am not one of those wealthy or technologically-inclined people with a Tivo.
