Dan Vs. Season 3 Episode 7 The DMV

Dan Vs. Season 3 Episode 7 The DMV Dan thinks the whole world is against him. Maybe it is, and maybe it isn't -- not even his laid-back friend Chris is totally sure. Maybe Dan's just imagining it all. But, like Chris, you can't help going along for the ride when Dan dreams up his wild plots to get even with whoever or whatever he thinks is out to get him

Dan Versus is fairly simple; it's about a cynical man who lives in a shabby, run-down apartment complex and literally thinks the world is against him. The plots are unique in the sense that they don't reuse the same general concepts over and over. In fact, the writers take the series in a whole different direction, taking on such ideas as "The Wolf-Man" or "The Catburglar", rather than what's expected from viewers, so the ideas are thoroughly refreshing with each new episode and totally unexpected.

Dan (played by the voice-talented Curtis Armstrong) is an anti-hero in his own right and easily becomes one of the most hilarious characters on the show. His best friend, Chris (Dave Foley), is a pushover and, as such, is easily manipulated to join Dan on his endless revenge schemes. Chris's wife, Elise (Paget Brewster), is constantly trying to talk Chris out of this, but is also susceptible to joining Dan on certain occasions (even in the pilot episode, "New Mexico"), which adds a certain touch of adventure to the show.

I first viewed this show after seeing several promos of it back during the beginning of 2011, when The Hub was a fairly new network. People see this channel as mostly an "all-Brony" station, since it's notorious for the cult-like show, Friendship is Magic. Unfortunately, Dan Vs along with other shows with lots of potential are overshadowed due to this. I highly recommend thinking outside the box and giving this one a try, you will not be disappointed.
