Ice Loves Coco is an American reality television series that debuted on E! in the United States and Canada on June 12, 2011, that follows rapper and actor Ice-T and wife Coco Austin. In September 2011, it was announced by Coco that a second season had been commissioned, and filming began in October 2011. The second season premiered on February 19, 2012.[1] The third season premiered on October 28, 2012.[2]
Austin was born in Tarzana, California. Her parents were actors who met on the set of Bonanza.[4] Austin also has a younger sister Kristy Williams and three younger brothers. As a small child, her sister would mispronounce her sister's name, saying "Cole Cole" or "Co-co" in place of "Nicole". Eventually her family began addressing her as Coco. The family moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico when she was 10. She grew up as a tomboy, riding quads and playing football.[5] Austin began dancing (jazz, tap and ballet) at the age of six, and was introduced to the stage early by her mother. She was involved in many productions at the Albuquerque Little Theatre.[6] She is of Serbian descent.[7]
